  2. Click the "Insert" tab and select "Headers and Footers" from the "Text" group.

    Click "Insert" tab and select Headers and Footers in the text group.
  3. Once the "Headers and Footers" dialog box appears, go to the "Slide" section. Select the check box beside the date and time, slide number, and footer box if you want to include them as your footer.

    In the dialog box, in the slide tab. mark the footer check box, slide number check box and date & time.
  4. Then, if you want to add text along with your footer, you can type your text in the box underneath the footer option.

    In the "Slide" tab, type your footer text you want to appear as your footer.
  5. Click the "apply" button to create a footer only on the title slide of your presentation.

    If you click "Apply" button, your footer text will appear in just one slide (Title)
  6. You can also select "Apply to All" if you want the same footer box on all your PowerPoint slides.

    If you click "Apply to All," your footer in PowerPoint will appear in all your slides.

Note: If you don't want your footer to appear on your "Title Slide" presentation title, select the title slide check box.
